spring of 2013 Woodard Furniture, known for its handcrafted cast aluminum and
wrought iron furniture, acquired Whitecraft Inc. in a move that would see
Woodard’s offerings expand into the realm of finely woven outdoor pieces. One
year later and we here at USA Outdoor are showcasing 8 of Whitecraft by Woodard’s
collections (one third of their entire catalog) which we feel best represent
the overall range of what Whitecraft has to offer. Wicker remains a popular option
for the outdoor living space and it is both logical and beneficial for Woodard to
stake a claim in the wicker game with this new brand of all-weather,
manufactured wicker furnishings.
ocusing
on comfort, whether presented in a traditional or contemporary look, Whitecraft
furniture is designed primarily for the patio lounge or living room, though a
few of the collections now featured at USA Outdoor do have dining chair(s) and
tables available as well. These deep seating options are delivered in both standalone
chairs/loveseats/sofas as well as modular units (single arm loveseats, chairs,
and chaises) and both armless and Corner chairs are available for creating the
popular L-shaped sectional.

Saddleback (a personal favorite) goes

Wicker made from 100% High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
that utilizes UV inhibitors to prevent color fading. The all-weather resin
wicker won’t rot, crack, or split, and each collection comes in its own
exclusive wicker weave pattern and finish color. Cushioned seating is available
in all of Woodard’s custom fabric color/pattern options.
